路邊看到的新聞: 美专利局最终裁定：微软二项FAT专利有效
如果微軟取得專利的話，就可以跟許多產業收取權利金‧好比說我們身邊常看到的 3C 產品：數位相機、PDA、MP3 隨身聽等，甚至製造記憶卡/磁片的廠商若將他們的產品 FAT 預先格式化 (pre-formatted)，有點軟的公司都能夠跟他們收錢‧
這下好玩了，大家付不付錢呢?
令外一個擔憂就是 Linux 之類的作業系統，能不能繼續使用 FAT filesystem？
若微軟對這些問題夠強硬，或許我們最近將會看到 FAT 的替代品了?
其實 FAT 不是甚麼了不起的東西嘛...
我記得.....是不是有規定說
當某項技術被太廣泛使用的時候，是不能夠在後來申請專利的
因為影響的層面太廣了......
